David R. Poszywak, the owner, and operator of Fine Line Painting was born and raised in Ann Arbor Michigan and lives here today. Being an Ann Arbor local has helped him understand the ways of the community and what Ann Arbor has to offer. From the annual art fair held in July to the sophistication of the arts held at the Power Center and Hill Auditorium. Ann Arbor is home to the University of Michigan, University of Michigan Medical Center, Google and Domino’s Pizza. The University of Michigan is one of the largest employers in the Ann Arbor area and many of their staff is his clients. Thousands are drawn to the Michigan Stadium or the Big House for Big 10 college football games which is one of Dave’s favorite sports, not to mention his passion for the Detroit Red Wings. His other personal favorites are family, travel, animals, music and the great outdoors.

Dave picked up his first paintbrush when he was just 9 years old. He learned his valuable painting techniques directly from his father, John Poszywak, handed down from one generation to the next. Dave’s Father is no longer with us physically but the lessons he taught are. Dave quickly fine-tuned his skills under his Fathers wing. He became very knowledgeable and specialized in residential painting. And in 1975 he registered his own business as Fine Line Painting & Decorating with Washtenaw County. His business is insured with the Hasting Mutual Insurance Company. He wants to make sure all his clients are assured when they select Fine Line Painting to handle their painting needs. He continually educates himself in his field keeping abreast to new products and techniques. He and his business most recently has become certified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, certification #R-I-18383-10-0286 and #NAT-71090-1.

Dave continues to serve Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County residents to this day. On a daily basis, he provides his professional expert knowledge helping his clients with their decisions for all their painting needs. He’s able to suit the correct product for the job. Whether it is new construction, a remodel or a re-paint he’s able to evaluate and provide whatever is required to do the job right. He works directly with his crew during the entire job. He utilizes local paint companies such as Anderson Paint, O’Leary Paint, and Sherwin Williams to provide high-quality products to all of his painting clients.
